International Workplace Group (IWG), including its Regus, Spaces and HQ brands, signed an agreement with AGEC Developments to bring its Humanly brand to Egypt for the first time. Opening at Paramount Business Complex in Cairo, the centre will provide flexible, purpose-designed practice spaces for medical, therapy, wellness, beauty, fitness and rehabilitation professionals.
The partnership agreement was signed by Eng. Ayman Louis Rafla, Chairman of AGEC Developments, and Youssef Naguib, Country Manager of IWG Egypt, in the presence of senior executives from both companies and business partners.
Introduced earlier this year, “Humanly” is IWG’s new dedicated healthcare and wellbeing brand, offering treatment-ready environments and spaces that enable practitioners of all kinds to establish and growth their businesses.
The concept extends IWG’s platform leadership into the fast-growing healthcare and wellbeing sectors.
Demand for healthcare and wellbeing services continues to grow globally, while practitioners increasingly seek flexible operating models that reduce overheads and allow them to operate closer to the communities they serve. Humanly addresses this shift by combining purpose-designed, fully equipped, compliant facilities with IWG’s global platform, enabling practitioners to scale up or down as needed while removing property and administrative burdens.
The addition of IWG’s first Humanly branded centre in Egypt, comes on the heels of the business posting its highest-ever revenue, cashflow, and earnings growth in its history. IWG achieved rapid network growth by signing a record 728 new locations globally in the first half of 2026, taking its global network to more than 6,000 signed locations across more than 120 countries.
IWG’s capital-light growth strategy is powering the vast majority of its expansion, with 95% of these locations being delivered via managed partnership agreements.
The model enables property owners and investors to generate higher returns from their buildings, while allowing IWG to grow its global network quickly and efficiently.
With Humanly’s launch, IWG is responding to rising demand from practitioners who want to work in growing locations that suit them — while also making healthcare and wellbeing services more accessible to people no matter where they are. International Workplace Group is the leading global platform for work – featuring thousands of locations in more than 120 countries.
Eng. Ayman Louis Rafla, Chairman of AGEC Developments said, “The partnership is part of AGEC’s strategy to develop integrated projects that go beyond real estate development, bringing together location, design, operations, and management to create sustainable value for customers and the project. Our decision to continue and expand our partnership with IWG follows the successful cooperation on the Regus centre within the Paramount project, spanning approximately 1,500 sqm, building on IWG’s global expertise in flexible workspace solutions.”
He added, “We always aim to launch exceptional projects that meet the aspirations of customers seeking uniqueness and excellence. This is achieved by selecting strategic locations and partnering with successful partners whose expertise and track record add value to these projects.”
Christian Schmitz, Global CEO of International Workplace Group PLC, commented: “Humanly is making healthcare and wellbeing services easier to access for customers, wherever they are, and we are delighted to bring the brand to this iconic Cairo location. By enabling practitioners to work closer to the communities they serve, in spaces that are ready from day one, we help people integrate care and wellbeing into their everyday lives more conveniently.
“By removing upfront investment and long-term commitments, healthcare and wellbeing professionals in Cairo gain the freedom to build sustainable, profitable practices on their own terms. This allows them to focus on delivering exceptional care, reach more people and grow with confidence.”
Youssef Najeeb, Country Manager of IWG Egypt, added: “Egypt remains one of IWG’s fastest growing markets, and the introduction of Humanly meets the rising demand for high-quality spaces equipped for healthcare and wellness professionals. Humanly provides a flexible, cost-effective solution that helps practitioners focus on their clients and grow their businesses with confidence.”
